Piece Tracker FAQ's

What do you mean by real time?

Immediate, instantaneous! Piece Tracker is based on an SQL data base which means the most current information is always available. The power of Piece Tracker is that information on each product piece, as it moves through the various stages from design to erection, is added to the data base as each change occurs.

What makes real time so important?

Many ERP systems are excellent accounting tools designed to enable you to review a project in extreme detail to analyze what you did wrong and what you did right so you can improve on the next project. Piece Tracker however, takes management to a higher level by enabling you to make decisions throughout your current project in real time.

Piece Tracker, especially when combined with mobile devices, ensures that each person has instant access to real time data. This means that everyone is able to make immediate adjustments to stamp out inefficiencies and head off problems before they occur. Collecting large amounts of data for historical analysis is useful, but true breakthrough productivity gains come from being able to use information the instant that it occurs.
